You'll hear that often as it is one of the guiding principles in our unique partnership with you in Malawi. In every outreach, building project and ministry strategy we ask everyone to bring something to the table. In most instances our Malawian partners bring labor, passion, a sense of ownership and their might, while we provide resources, willingness and additional workers. Together, we pray and get after it!
As you may know, we recently launched a new Passion Center site in Jali where we will continue to care for orphans and widows within the neighboring communities. Right now, we are currently in need of a church/community ministry building at this location.
Back in 2005 when the Passion Center building project sprang into action, we paid a contractor $35,000 to build our first ministry building in Mulunguzi. The new building project in Jali will be larger than our first location. This means our resources and materials will need to be plentiful and our funds abundant! Partnering with the church in Jali, we plan to provide $14,000 worth of cement bags, tin roofing and logistics for them to begin to build the new ministry building.
Breaking that down, we will need the equivalent of 140 gifts of $100 each. You can easily donate on our website by visiting our DONATE page and selecting “Greatest Need” as the designation to donate for this project.
Would you consider joining us for this building project? Any gifts are appreciated as we move forward in this new endeavor!
