A: Yes! We encourage all sponsors to write letters and send photos to their sponsored children.

Q:  Can I send/bring items to my sponsored child?

Q:  Am I able to see my sponsored child during my trip to Malawi?

A:  Although we cannot guarantee that any sponsor will be able to visit their sponsored child, many of our sponsors have had the wonderful opportunity of meeting their sponsored child throughout the course of their trip.

A: If your sponsored child is no longer enrolled in our program, you will be notified by one of our coordinators and provided the opportunity to connect with another child if you choose to continue sponsoring.

Letter Writing

Q: How can I write a letter to my sponsored child?

A: Simply log in to your account here, and in the "My Profile" tab, click 'Inbox'. You can also mail your card or letter directly to your sponsored child at our Malawi address at P.O. Box 1435 Zomba, Malawi (ATTN: Your Child's Name).

***Please note that if your letter is sent through the mail, it may take several months to arrive in Malawi.

Message Portal/ Postal Mail: All letters are hand delivered by our ministry coordinators and may also take some time to reach your sponsored child. Please allow 3-4 weeks to receive correspondence.

Q: What are some tips for letter writing?

A: Communication with your sponsored child means a great deal to them. We encourage our sponsors to send pictures, share a Bible verse, talk about your family, ask about your child's hobbies and interests, and ways that you can pray for them. We kindly ask that you refrain from writing about material items as children in our sponsorship program are not as materially blessed as we are.

Please DO send letters, cards, and photos to your sponsored child at the below addresses and/or through the REACH portal, but please DO NOT send any money or gifts to your child as they often create jealousy and make them a target of theft.

Q: Will I be notified if I receive letter correspondence?

A: Yes, whenever you receive letter correspondence or an update from one of our coordinators you will receive an email notification with the subject line "Conversation Update" or "Daily Supporter Update". Please note that all new updates and letter notifications will be delivered from Passion Center for Children by the email address notifications@reachapp.com. To ensure you never miss an update, please add this address to your contacts.
